I am interested in learning more about Hotspot Privacy, but there is not enough information for me. And before I purchase it I want to know what I am buying. Seems to what info is available is somewhat vague.
I want to know the technical stuff about it. What VPN protocols does it use? How many servers are there to use? Are there any download limitations? How fast is the service? So on and so forth.
Can someone fill me in on the technical side of the product?

Thanks Charles for the info. What you provided is lots more than what I could dig up. it seems the other solutions provide much more information about their products. Although I am interested in Hotspot Privacy, I am tempted to go with another solution just because I can read much more about those solutions than NHP.

It works good but I have seen my internet go slow and lose speed when it is on. I live in NY and get 50Mps download and 5Mbps upload. When it is off I get full speed but when I turn it on everytime I lose speed I get abot 35 to 40Mbps download and 2Mbps. I think I know why when it is off I am contected to my ISP server and network. When it is on the network and server that nortorn puts me on is somware in CA USA. That is why I am not getting the speeds as I do from my ISP. My question is do they have a database other then CA?
