Is the server for hotspot shield in the United States down? I have tried it several times over the past 12 hours, the VPN client on my iPad starts but I loose my ability to access the Internet. I have to turn off the vpn switch to access the internet again. When I use the iPad app, it tells me I am protected via the United Kingdom and my access expires in 7 days. My VPN client is actually set for the US and I have well over 360 days left.
I have uninstalled and attempted to reinstall several times already. I worked fine a few days ago, nothing else is different.

As of 8 PM Eastern Time. I have been able to reconnect with the Server in the United States. I am also under the impression that Norton has very little to do with this product. It appears to be a rebrand of anchor free hotspot shield.
The bottom line being, I’m back on. Hope everyone else is able also.
