As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have been using the DOS version of Ghost for years with my desktop, but I was told by some techie that the DOS version of Ghost would not support external drives. Not a problem with a desktop, but a laptop only has room for one drive in the computer so I had to buy Ghost v.14. I must say that the newer version is more complicated than I think it needs to be. Maybe Symantec should have a version for guys like me who just want to do a simple image or clone of a drive, and another version for the folks who need all the bells and whistles. As I read all the posts on this and other boards, most people who have problems are just trying to get the program to do simple tasks.
