Okay, so, Norton is driving me to the point where I want to rip it out of my computer entirely.
Kerbal Space Program recently updated to 1.0, and as a result I'm trying to play it again. However, this involves lots of mods, because the unofficial motto of KSP is "Mod it 'till it crashes!"
These mods very often involve lots of .dll files. Unfortunately, Norton paranoidally assumes that every unknown .dll is a security risk, and deletes it. There is no option to "Ask me," for files like this, or for files it considers "Medium risk," it just jumps the gun and deletes them automatically.
I need it to stop doing this. Going back and hitting "restore" on files individually is not sufficient, because sometimes Norton scans them while I'm playing KSP, removes them and then tells me to restart my computer, which is further enraging.
I need it to leave my KSP modding folder alone. Or at least, and more preferably, to ASK ME before it jumps the gun and deletes .dlls it doesn't recognize. How do I achieve this goal, preferably without uninstalling Norton 360 altogether?
