How can I see a log of all past scans?

I'm sure Norton Internet Security keeps a record of all scans it performs. How can I see this log?

 

Also, how can I tell if a scan is currently in progress. Sometimes my hard drive is accessed continually for a long period but Task Manager says nothing is running. I suspect a scan is in progress and would like to be able to confirm that.
