What kind of firewall are you running?

howdy, it sounds like you're taking reasonable precautions to keep yourself from getting infected from bots and other threats that might hijack your system. NAV will provide your baseline antivirus and antispyware as well as an inbound firewall. surfing in user account is not a bad idea, but NAV should have you covered (though it never hurts to layer your defenses like you are doing now). in the spirit of layered defenses, you might want to consider NIS with a full 2-way firewall (monitors outbound traffic as well) and features like Identity Safe. nonetheless, if you're happy with NAV08 and are not noticing any strange behavior on your system, you're in good hands and should rest easy.
