How can I tell if my six-months old PC came with a trial version of NIS?

I was away on holiday 26th April to 11th May, during which outlook.com was upgraded. As a result (I have presumed), outlook is unable to send out emails when I have used a group contact list, although if shows the names.

I'm currently trying to get this resolved on the Microsoft Community and an expert there has asked me a number of questions, including these:

2. Has a Norton application or a McAfee application EVER been installed on the computer since you bought it?              3. Did a Norton free-trial or a McAfee free-trial [<=PICK ONE!] come preinstalled on the computer when you bought it? (Doesn't matter if you never used or activated  it.)                                                                                                                                                                                                                          4. Have you ever run the Norton Removal Tool and/or the McAfee Consumer Products Removal Tool?

I installed NIS (now v22.6.0.142) but is there any way that I can check (a) if the PC came with a Norton free trial pre-installed and (b) if I've ever run the NRT?
