We have a system that has had weird Ghost errors for a while. We have even gone as far as to spend several hours troubleshooting with Norton Ghost's engineers (not the standard support or the senior techs, but the top of the food chain) and after trying everything INCLUDING a reformat, the issue remained . . . . AFTER installing Sp1 to Ghost 15. It took quite a bit of troubleshooting to see that was the issue as we had been using the newest installer provided by Norton and it wasn't until we went back to the original install CD that the problem did not occur.
That being said, we are doing a fresh setup now and are praying the issue doesn't come back. Assuming it doesn't, how can we make sure Norton Ghost 15 does NOT automatically run live upate . . . .without keeping Norton Internet Security from updating itself? It may be simple, but right now the machine is in the process of restoring it's image and we can't verify in the Norton settings.
