How Can You Mark A Site As Safe?

Hello,

 

I keep getting a Norton message saying the site I am going to may not be safe.  Is sure there is a way to manually mark a site as "safe", if you know it is?  Can't find anything in the search results of the forum.

Hi tasteoftexas,

 

There is no way to whitelist a site locally, but if you are sure that the site is safe you can either click through the Norton block, or disable "Block malicious sites" in the Norton Safe Web settings.  Of course, you have absolutely no way of knowing if the site is actually safe or not (legitimate sites are compromised all the time), so you ignore Norton's warnings at your own peril.
