How do I apply settings remotely to my android cellphone. I have no desktop app to do this

OK, I instaled NMS to my android smartphone. But suppose the phone gets lost. How do I remote control the settings on that phone from my desktop? I have no such app on my desktop to remote control the mobile settings to the NMS program
