How do I download norton on my apple device?

I have downloaded but when i try to install it’s showing an error and automatically goes away.

Norton security products are supported on macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and later versions only.

Current versions of Norton 360 are not compatible with macOS Sierra (10.12). Norton has officially ended support for this operating system, and the installer will likely show an error if you try to run it on Sierra.

To install Norton on your Mac, you must first update your operating system to macOS High Sierra (10.13) or later.
How to Proceed

  1. Check for Updates: Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner > About This Mac to confirm your version, then check the App Store or System Preferences for available macOS updates.
  2. Upgrade macOS: If your hardware supports it, upgrade to at least macOS High Sierra (10.13). Once updated, you can sign in to the My Norton Portal to download the software as usual.
  3. Older Versions: If your Mac cannot be updated past Sierra, you will not be able to install the latest Norton 360 suite. In this case, Norton recommends transferring your protection seat to a different, supported device in your household.
