I'm new to these forums and not very technical I'm afraid so apologies in advance if this is an obvious question or already been asked 
I've only been in the online game a couple of months now, having recently setup my own oriental gift shop based in the uk.
My website is hosted by 3rd party server and all of my transactions are on a secure socket layer (https) through paypal.
In looking through the google results i noticed that some sites on the web seem to have the Norton approved symbol next to them and I wanted to ask some questions.
1) How do i apply to have my site checked by Norton and this symbol added to the search results and
2) Are there any extra things I can do that will ensure my customers that I am safe to shop with and include a relevant logo on my website?
3) Are there any sites I need to register with to prove that my site is safe to shop with ?
Internet security is very important to me and any information on what I can do to protect my customers would be greatly appreciated.
