I am using Companionlink for Google to autosync my Google calendar with my Outlook 2007 calendar, on my Vista computer. I am getting a Norton 2010 Internet Security dialogue box, each day when it's time to auto sync, asking me if I want to allow this program to obtain data from Outlook.
I spoke with Companionlink and they referred me to Norton.
I believe that there should be a place in Norton Internet Security that will allow me to exclude the Companionlink from raising the red flag, but I am unsure as what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I didn't even know that there are versions of Vista. What I can tell you is that my Vista updates are up-to-date and the computer is about 18 months old.
I'm not much better with the second question, but, here is what companionlink does.
I enter a calendar event on my iphone, which then syncs with google calendar, and then, on a daily autosync basis, syncs the google calendar information onto my Outllok 2007 calendar.
Companionlink has a website and describes their products if that helps > companionlink.com
Have you allowed the program.exe in Norton>settings>program rules>configure to allow the access? Do you have Norton set on automatic or do you have automatic turned off?
