To download NIS 2010 Italian version, you can go to the Italian Norton Update Center - however, I am not sure if the latest version (17.1.0.19) is already released:

It would be best if you contacted Italian Symantec Customer Support (however, they're only available on weekdays) and asked them if they have a direct download link to NIS 2010 and if the latest version is already available; other languages tend to be released later:

Me again. I tried out something (just changed the country code to "it" in the URL below) and managed to find what I think should be the direct link to the full Italian package of NIS 2010:

I downloaded the package myself to make sure it was the latest version - and it is; I hope it is also in Italian! If it is not, you can stop the installation. However, since the package contains IT (for Italian) in its label, this should be it :-)

It seams that every is ok, i will check about the stability of the system and if everithing work wellI will let you know about the results.

The update link is ok, I installed the full version of NIS 2010 build 17.1.0.19 Italian and is working same of the previous installation updated via LiveUpdate.
I'm experiencing sames problems, the start-up time is too long and i must wait at least 8-10 minutes before the ram and the cpu remain stable.
I think that NIS 2010 work very well on Windows Vista, maybe Synamtec shoud work to fix the software for Windows 7 os, I noticed that many users running Windows 7 have the same problems with NIS 2010 :)
I tested the same build on the same machine with Vista and everithing is ok, more fast, -50/60 mb of ram usage ... :)
My pc: HD 500 gb, 2 gb ram ddr2, Intel core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2,4 GHz, Nvidia GE Force 9500 GT 1 gb.
I hope that Symantek is worwing to sort-out the problem, otherwise I will change the NIS 2010 with another software :)
