During the day Norton 360 updates (Virus,Spyware and Definition Update) have been executed automatically and after a reboot of my PC the error is gone.
How do I get rid of an automatic NORTON pop up that was embedded in my new computer pitching the trial period when I have Norton 360 but from an other source?
To get you the best advice, would you give us some more information about your system:
What version of Windows are you using including Service Packs and whether 32 bit or 64 bit as well as the Name and Version ID of the Norton product that you are using -- Help / About is where that is, in the format of nn.nn.nn.nnn
If you have the COMCAST version of Norton 360 / Security Suite and not the normal commercial version please be sure to tell us.
If you get any error messages please give the exact wording of them as well as any other background that could be helpful.
Would you also please say whether you have activated the "other source" copy of N360 -- entered the KEY code and have it saying that it will run for XX days? If what you downloaded from the "Other source" was also a trial version then your problem could be there because you cannot daisy-chain them for obvious reasons <s>
Did you remove the Trial version you refer to and if so how did you remove it?
Sorry to ask so many questions but we cna't see your machine ....
