I have a ssd and I need to permanently disable disk optimization. I thought I had disabled it by unchecking the boxes in task scheduling but then norton security gave the message that my computer needed to have attention because none of the pc tune up functions had been performed (I unchecked the boxes so they wouldn't be performed) and wanted to fix this problem which wasn't a problem. The next time a scheduled full system scan was performed it informed me that my pc was tuned up I have a ssd and optimize disk will shorten the lifespan so I turned this function off but after the scan I found all the pc tune up functions checked after I had unchecked them.
