How do I reinstall Norton to an already existing device which had Norton previously installed?

I recently wiped clean my hard drive which removed Norton from my computer. How do I reinstall without the computer being considered as a new device? thanks

the usual reply has been … as long as you don’t replace hardware…e.g., motherboard…you may install / re-install…as needed…without being considered as a new device

you may remove the license…as a precaution…before reinstall…if you want
you may remove the license…of the wiped drive machine…to free up seat

Remove license from an unused computer

1. Sign in to your account.
2. In the top-right corner of the page, hover over the account icon or photo and click My Subscriptions.
3. On the My Account page, on the My Subscriptions tab, select the product you want to manage.
4. Under the product, click Manage Licenses.
5. In the pop-up window, choose the device that you no longer use, and then under Remove License, click the bin icon.
6. Click Remove to confirm.
