Hi,
So, This showed up (see image). How do I remove it as I don't want it, didn't ask for it, and consider it rude to add a drive without implicitly asking me. Short of uninstalling Norton360 (Honestly, between the bitcoin miner, CONSTANT popups, and now this, I'm really close to discarding Norton.)
Thank you, that worked on two of PC's, but a 3rd is still showing it after a reboot.
If I have to, I'll remove it, reinstall, and see what happens.
Thanks again and I hope you have a good weekend.
Have you restarted the 3rd computer after changing the setting? Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
I appreciate it, I just don't like storing data on the cloud.
Don't get me wrong, it's a very useful function, I just don't place data like System config on the cloud.
Norton Cloud Backup features are for protecting personal files like photos and documents.
Norton Cloud Backup does not create system images.
If you're not using Norton Backup for your personal files.
May be best to turn Backup Off + Apply

@StefanDembowski
Curious, did you try turning off Norton Backup Drive + Apply
By default, Norton Backup settings are turned on and the following features are on:
Backup Status Overlay: Inserts an icon on files.

Protected - Green icon next to the file indicates that the file has been backed up

Unprotected - Blue icon next to the file indicates that the file has been modified after it has been backed up

Excluded - Gray icon next to the file indicates that the files has been excluded from its backup set

Norton Backup Drive: Lets you view the list of backup destinations.

Context Menu: Lets you use the right-click shortcut menu to add or delete files from backup sets.

Property Page: Adds Norton Backup details to the File Properties page of backed up files

This is added for the backup feature within Norton 360. It is a shortcut to all of your backup sets and allows you to use the windows file explorer to navigate within those backup sets. As far as I know, there is no way to "hide" this and it's not something that is "installed".
