I have logged into my Norton account to check on licences I have remaining so I can send a link to my Son. I see that have some duplicate licences shown and also cannot 'see' my Wife's licence. Supposedly having a duplicate licence means the number of licences remaining is incorrect. My Wife has Norton 360 on her lap top and this was downloaded on 28/07/2021 but this licence is shown against a desktop that I no longer own and her laptop name is not recorded. I have tried to delete the older duplicate licence but the 'delete' icon doesn't work. Any idea how this can be fixed. Screen shots attached.
[Edit: Calrified the subject]
David. In Windows you can check what the actual device name is that you are using, IE: your laptop that belongs to your wife. Then compare that name to the licenses in your account, delete the one that is incorrect as required. HOW, the name changed will ultimately be a mystery and can be caused by accidentally renaming a device either in Windows or the system BIOS. Malware can also change that information as well although, I don't believe that is what happened in your case.
In your Norton account look at the far right corner as shown below in my screenshot. Click that icon, a new dialog will appear. Then click "View Devices" as the second pointer shows. A listing of icons should appear as the actual device naming schemes you have for your devices. Also, make sure you have "Remote Management" enabled on all your devices so they can synch with the Norton services and your account.

For the trash can not working, if you have an ad blocker extension in your browser, try turning that off for the Norton pages. Many of Norton's web pages do not play well with ad blockers.
Yes, I clicked it several times and it did nothing.
I should also have been explicit but I am also asking why my Wife's licence is being shown incorrectly.
TIA
Hello David. You're saying that clicking the trash can icon isn't working correct?
