How do I Scan My External Hard Drive

I am using Windows Vista with Norton 360 version 5.1.0.29 and I wish to scan my external hard drive ONLY.  My external hard drive is recognized on my computer.  However, when I right click on the hard drive, the option to scan the hard drive is not available.  The only option is to add this external hard drive to my backup (and not to scan it).  Help!  Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.  However, the option of Add Folders under Custom Scans is not available to me, so I am still unable to scan my external USB hard drive.  Any additional suggestions?

Are you in a limited user account? If yes, then log on to the Administrative account, and see whether you have this option.
