How Do I Sign Out Of Norton NIS 2013?

Hi Everyone,

When I open the NIS 2013 interface it shows me as "Logged in as:" and then it shows my email address.  So how do I log out of the Norton NIS 2013 interface?

I tried logging out by clicking "Account" on the interface... and logging out. .. but that only logs me out of Norton's webpage which shows my accounts/subscription information.  I am still logged into the NIS 2013 interface.

So how do I log out?

Hi, spywriter007. I have come across this before. Do you have Norton Management loaded on your system ? If so, go to main gui, select Manage and if you're still signed in, you should be able to sign out. Then, your email address will no longer show. :smileyhappy:

Hi F4E,

Does being logged out disconnect you from the Cloud protection?

I noticed when I'm logged out my Norton Studio Icon in Windows 8 stops working (Monitoring then Secure)

Hey spywriter007,

You can logout through Norton Management.. Find below the log out steps

1) Launch product

2) Click 'Manage' icon on the right corner of the UI

3) Click 'log out' button on the' Welcome to Noton Management' UI.

Ballistic, I'm not sure how that works with Windows 8. Anyone else know ?

Hi Ballistic/F4E,

Yes, If you log out from Norton Studio, then Studio will stop monitoring your devices. You will not get any updates from the tied devices and you cannot run scans/..... through remotely.

Let me know if you need more updates on this

Hi Ballistic,

If you log out of Studio, only thing that happens is you will not be able to remotely monitor all the products tied to that account. It will not affect your protection in any ways.

Kindly let us know if you need more info.

Thanks!

Hi Aider,

Thanks for the pictures.... I didn't even look in that area of the NIS interface... I was looking in settings... but that works. I am logged out now.

Thanks again,
