How do I turn off the automatic full scan on norton

I do this because every time I leave my computer alone, begins to make the full scan and many vecez my computer freezes and I can not move the mouse or keyboard

In Norton's Computer Settings Window, use the dropdown list for Idle Time Scans and select "Off."
