Yes you can.
There are several ways:
- It is scanning everything you are downloading
- right click on file and choose scan

That is new in N360 V2, isn't it?
Thanks for confirming -- I was not in a position to cross check since I have NIS 2008 on my XP partiton.
Yep
It does work pretty well I might say
I’ll try it out next time I’m over in VISTA/N360 …
hey,
i was scanning my computer the other day using Norton 360 and i found that it said i had around 300 infected objects.
i have tried looking into this before but i had no luck so im trying it on here. I want to know if its possible to scan individual objects; like program downloads etc; because then i can just scan them instead of waiting till i scan again.
if you know how to do this please leave a guide/method of how to do so.
Yours Sincerely,
steve
I believe the latest revisions of Norton 360 version 2 do have the ability to scan a single object. I'm not sure of this and I'm not in my OS with N360 at the moment to try it out.
Check that you do have Norton 360 ver 2 (it's a free update from ver 1) and see if you can find the difference.
Meanwhile someone who has done it may be able to tell you more.
