How do you read firewall log files with Norton security suite

 How do you read firewall log files when Norton Security suite is installed?

 

 And or why did my modem barf when Norton updated?

 

 Microsoft used to have a notepad readable formatted file.  with more than just UDP drops.

  Other firewalls had crappy *.exe files that would read their needlessly encrypted records,   But No sign of those

  in /windows/programdata/symnatec/shared
