How do you stop 360 v5 Premium popping "Registration Is Not Complete" boxes without registering?

I keep getting annoying "Registration is not complete" boxes popping from the system tray. There is no [X] button to kill it. Instead it opens a window which turns into a "this application script has failed to respond or has crashed" and an attempt at a Yes No button towards the bottom. The only way to kill it is through Task Manager as the Task Bar icon has Close greyed out.  I don't care if Registered Customers get Premium Support, I NEVER register software, never have never will and I write software for a living!  I am assuming there is a setting somewhere in the registry to kill this annoyance.  I cannot show what the main popup is supposed to look like because it is always broken and in tatters.

Hi Nawtun,

It sounds like your program is trying to get you to enter your username/emailaddress and a password so that it can store your product information onn the Norton server. The information being your product type, the key, the activation/expiration date and tied to your address. If you click on support > subscription status what do you get?

Thanks

Gidday Dick

I get a big green tick icon with

Nawtun,

I know how you feel about that screen when you are activating your Norton since like you I don't mind activating but I always avoid the Registration that is so often, or was in the past, a marketing tool to get your name address inseam and whathave you....

But this "Registration" is part of the activation so far as I know and I've never had any sales emails from Norton as a result, except for the one just now confirming that I had activated.

We have a Forum here for Product suggestions -- why not go and suggest they change the wording to Activation not complete and, for me, I'd like a Remind me later option if that does not mess up the database system. Maybe they could allow a few days once you have entered the KEY?

Just a thought but I know what you mean by your reaction.
