How does "New Norton 360 Upgrade offer for existing customers" apply to Norton Core customers with Norton Security as part of the Core subscription?

So, Sunil_GA, how does this work for those of us who have our Norton Security through our Norton Core subscription?

Hello Garlen. As I understand things presently, a "software solution" is planned for REPLACING Core going forward at the EOS date. WHAT that will entail, is anyone's best guess at this point. Since Core is no longer being made or sold, and, support for it will end, it makes prudent sense that Core will be allowed to retire hardware wise and become a relic. My personal HOPE is Norton will wipe Core of its firmware and dependency on the app, allowing custom firmware usage going forward. THAT also makes prudent sense in respect to customer retention as well. The investment in the hardware can be repurposed at the user discretion. Lets hope. The current N360 offerings will NOT substitute for nor integrate with the NCS+ subscription which keeps Core functional as they now stand. The subscription does. When its no longer available, Core will cease to function. I'm banking on Core retirement in the hardware form its now in.

Edited: One thought coming to mind is an "added feature for Core" inclusive into the current or future version of Norton to keep Core going.

If I turn off my "Norton Core Security Plus" subscription I would also turn off the Core updates...which I want to keep until Core End of Support or until the Core physically fails.

What we need to know is if/how "New Norton 360 Upgrade offer for existing customers" integrates with the existing "Norton Core Security Plus" subscription.

Hello garlen

I'm using  the Core also, but with Norton Security with Backup. You can turn off automatic Renewal. I have about 2 months left on my subscription.

Thanks! I guess I should point out that a Core subscription provided "1 year protection for up to 20 devices • Unlimited IoT Devices" initially and then monthly renewal via the Core subscription. "Following your 1 year complimentary subscription to Norton Core Security Plus, you will be automatically renewed each year and billed on a monthly basis (plus applicable taxes) until you cancel."

So we need to know if the "New Norton 360 Upgrade offer for existing customers" includes the same subscription details via the Core subscription until End of Life for the Core.
