How long does a repair of Trojans supposed to take?

I installed NV on my MacPro and ran an initial scan. Program found Trojans and I hit "repair all" - that was three days ago!!! and it is still running.

Somebody, tell me it shouldn't take this long? Do I dare quit the NVprogram and start again? I can't work on this computer till it's done!!! Help.  -Pat

Hi

if you use Norton on Mac O/S then this is the wrong forum!

You should post here.

3 days is too long their may be some problem

Unfortunately I did not get a count of the number of Trojans found before I hit the repair all button.... just posted this same question in the Mac Forum.... I guess I should have gone there first, but appreciate your interest in my small crisis!

Thanks for the referral to the Mac Forum.... I'm a newbie... didn't realize...

Sorry for your problems, unless you had hundreds of files to fix, a repair should only take seconds, perhaps minutes in the extreme case. So apparently the repair process has hung, you can quit and retry (you may need to force quit the application).  If you continue to have problems after re-scan and repair, let me know here and we can explore other possibilities.
