How long does it take to unlock & turn off monitoring?

Hi,

Today I unlocked my son's PC and turned off supervision around noon.  Several hours later I received a panicked call from school that his PC was locked and he could not get on to do his classwork.  (He received a 0 in one class today, thanks). 

How long should it take to unlock a PC using Family?  Three hours seems a little excessive, but this is not the first time we have had this problem.

When any house rules are changed it should get reflected immediately in your child's PC. In case there is a delay, please try updating the house rules from Norton Family TrayIcon. Right Click on "Norton Family" TrayIcon and choose "Update House Rules".
