It's downright obscene the way Norton hates and irritates its customers. Ironically, long ago I marked all Emails from Norton as Spam. So if they did send me something important, I would never know.
I guess it was last year they started bugging people about having a weak network password, with no way to turn that off other than doing a deep dive into the security history:How is Suspicious Network Detected the same as a weak password?
Then there's the fact that they charge their loyal repeat customers more to renew than to go online and buy a new license. "Thanks for being a loyal customer, ha ha ha."
And now this:
What's this? You haven't thrown anything in my face for the last three hours, so you have to show this pop-up - like a four-year-old in need of attention? Maybe you think I'm stupid because, well maybe because I've been a customer for 10 years. I'm starting to feel pretty stupid about that.
Lest you think that I am just some lone wolf, a disgruntled old guy crying into the ether, take note of the fact that on this community forum there are 4,778 instances of the word "ANNOYING".
