This is a very basic question. I have been using identity safe on my windows PC for years. I now have the app installed on my iPad, can login and access the login info, but when I want to login to a web site, I can't figure out how to get the login and password to auto fill like it does in windows. It must be something very obvious....but not to me.
Hi john,
After u login to the app, if u go to any site on the browser embedded into our app - it will be able to auto fill. Unlike PC, it will not be able fill logins on the safari browser of the iPad. You can to tap the button in bottom center (app button). In the circular menu it shows - tap the right button to launch the embedded browser. You could use it like a regular browser. It will auto fill logins & also capture any news logins.
If you want to visit the associated website of a particular login - you could also go to its login details & click ‘login’ button - it will launch the browser & help you login.
Kindly let me know if this helps. I will be happy to clarify any questions.
Thx
Ram
That's what I thought, but I'm sitting at my iPad next to my PC trying to login to llbean.com. On the PC it works - no problem.
On the iPad, I think I am logged in to identity safe - I can see my logins when I tap on the Key Hole icon, but in the browser, I'm staring at the "Secure Login" window and nothing happens.
I can log in by entering the information manually.
If the URL is different for the iPad, I would expect to see something asking me if I wanted to add a new login, but I'm not seeing that either.
I assume it's something really stupid that I'm not understanding.................Is there something I need to do to tell the app to auto fill? The Login entry already says that "Sign me in automatically" is turned on.........

Which browser are you referring to? If you mean the Safari browser that comes with your iPad, that will not work. Because of the way Apple protects their applications, they do not allow applications to interact with each other.
You need to use the browser that is part of the Identity Safe app. From the login list, click on the login you want to use, then in the right pane with the details of the login, click on 'Login beside the URL.

I just did a little testing and found the same issue you are noting about the autologin not working.
What I did find was when I navigate to a page with a stored login, the login info was filled in but I still had to click on Log In. One site I have multiple logins for would fill in the first one, and to see the other logins, I had to tap the menu button at the bottom of the screen, then I could scroll through the list of logins.
Maybe @ramakrishnan_ms can bring this to the attention of the ID Safe mobile team.
