How to add NIS toolbar on Google chrome

I tried everything i saw when i googled it but nothing works I just switched browsers from Firefox to chrome need help to get that dang on toolbar on chrome

Hi,

the 2012 (v19.x) products should be working fine with Chrome as they are compatible.

Can you please tell us the exact version of your Norton product?
1. Open the main window
2. Click on Help & Support -> About menu
3. On the About window find the version number (it will look like this: 19.2.0.10)

i think its an older version 5.1.0.29

i do have norton through comcast if that makes any difference im not sure if we would have an update for the newer version....

That product is a different one. That one is built on Norton 360, and neither of them had the update that has the Chrome compatibility. The new release, version 6.0 will be released really soon (in two-three months from previous years), and than you will have Chrompatibility in it as well. :)

ok.. so there are no backways at all until then huh?

At the moment unfortunately no :(. Current Norton 360/Security Suite versions can work only with Internet Explorer and Firefox.
