I would like to have my cloud backups done in a custom fashion that organizes the list by Folders and then subfolders upon opening the folder. I am aware that when one first starts a backup, Norton offers to backup Documents, Music, Photos etc.
One can also choose Add Folders.
I did not want to backup Music so I deleted that option.
I chose to back up Documents and left that option on the list.
I wanted to backup a subset of the Photos so I deleted that option and Used Add folders to select the Photos folder and then unchecked icloud folder which I did not want to be backed up.
I also added a couple of other folders.
What happened was that after the backup the folders are listed alphabetically. The Documents folder in the list is mixed up with all of the individual photo sub folders as are the other two folders I backed up. I thought what I would get is a backup with The Photos folder listed, which I could open or restore in entirety, a Documents Folder which I got, the other two folders I backed up, but they are all hard to find, and mixed in with lots and lots of individual Photos sub folders. To restore the Photos folder requires individually clicking on tons of sub folders instead of just clicking on a Photo Folder.
What am I doing wrong to achieve a usable backup list of Folders that I can just one click to restore a given Folder and all the subfolders listed under the folder?
Should I choose to keep the Photos offered by Norton and then go to Settings and exclude the subfolder I do not want to acheive this? Maybe I chose the wrong Photos folder?
