How to block the Internet access to a program with Norton IS 2010?

Hi,

I've been testing Norton Internet Security 2010 for some hours and I couldn't find an option to block the Internet access to a desired program.

It's this possible?

Thanks in advance.

Create a new Program Rules in the Smart Firewall and set it to "Block".

Settings > Internet Settings > Smart Firewall > Program Control > Add.

You can also change the settings to globally ask you about new connections by changing the settings to Automatic Program Control to OFF and Advanced Events Monitoring to ON.  Norton will ask you what you want to do when a program accesses the Firewall; select the action you want and select always.  This will make the selection permanent.  When the training is over, you can turn Automatic Program Control back to ON and your new rules will remain in effect and you will not have any more "pop ups" to deal with from the Firewall.

Thank you very much.

I didn't view this part of the configuration options because I didn't view the scrollbar on the rigth.

Problem solved.

Don’t feel bad; that scroll bar gets a lot of users ( looking innocently at the ceiling and floor while trying to whistle ).  :smileyhappy:
