I bought the package from a shop at my country(Greece),but when i insert the cd to the drive and start the install don't give me the possibility to choose language(except Greek).
If I reinstall the product is there any way to choose the English?
Thanks
Hi!
You just simply need to download the english trial (http://nct.digitalriver.com/fulfill/0184.077), and then install it with your key. It's just so simple.
PapauZ
OK!
I downloaded the english trial version and activate it with my product code, but I still have a question.
There are risks that the file I downloaded to be infected with a virus etc(maybe with a virus that has always existed in the PC that downloaded the file),with the result after the installation NIS2009 does not work correctly?
You can follow the link and make sure that your computer is free of risks.
The ISO of Norton Recovery Tool is the same with the version of Norton Recovery Tool that included in NIS2009 CD?
Or the ISO upgraded periodically by the Symantec(so is better to removing threats),while the version on the CD of course not upgraded?
At the bottom of the page you find these infos:
DOCID: 20080612122232EN
Product: Norton Internet Security 2009 Retail
Operating System: Windows Vista,Windows XP
Last modified: 09/08/2008
If the date (Last modified) is newer than your version (ie. you bought your NIS in september, and the iso file is modified at october), then download it. If not, use your CD. (Now I think the CD will be OK.)
The ISO of Norton Recovery Tool is the same with the version of Norton Recovery Tool that included in NIS2009 CD. Norton Recovery tool downloads virus definitions before scanning and the scanning technology rely on the virus definitions. So there is no need to upgrade it periodically.
Thank you for your answers!
Hi!
Hi Dimdas & welcome
you can't change the language. You will have to wait when the product will be released in your country.
