In account settings, when I enter my password to change my email address, I get a message that says this is an incorrect password. However, it is the same password I signed in with. I tried it a couple of times to be sure, but I get the same message.
When you log in, do you use auto fill password? might be changed.
In any case you can ask for a new PW and then change your email address
I get to fill in the password, then the new email address, then confirm new email, then update email. That's when I get a message that the password is incorrect.
Are you getting this message as you move from the password line to the new email line? Or do you get to fill the password, then new email address and get the message when you click on Update email?
