Is there a way through my Norton account to unlist a device that's no longer in use? I still have the old laptop but can't open it to uninstall Norton because the cable charger and the battery no longer work. It's a Toshiba and getting a new charger for it would be impossible now. I don't think I'd be able to get in anyway as I can't remember passwords etc. This means I currently use my Norton security product for ONE device only but it is still listed as in use for two. I can use Norton 360 on 3 devices. If I get a new laptop, it won't be a problem, but I'd like the '3rd device' option if I need it.
Thanks a lot for both replies! It was surprisingly easy to delete but I'm just not familiar with navigating the Norton site. In case anyone else wants to know, the details of the old license I deleted remain under 'history' so it must be possible to re-activate a license later if needed.
Login to your Norton account online and delete the license for the old laptop.
