Dear All,
I have correctly installed a chat application in my PC (Windows 10) called TradeFloor.net.
When I try to log in with my email and password the application doesn't open. The only messages I get are:
Connected to the server... Checking email account... Initializing user... and that's it, its login window doesn't close and the chat window doesn't open.
If I press Ctrl + alt + supr and choose 'task administrator' I can see how the CPU equals 0% for the application. It doesn't load.
I have tried several things to solve the problem like uninstalling and reinstalling, checking that the prerequisites for the application are installed in my computer, compatibility troubleshooting, asking (just in case) if there are any restrictions for new users of the chat application, etc.
Other people are also working on a solution and we finally come to the conclusion that what is causing the problem seems to be isolated to my PC because for other users the chat application works fine, so Norton 360 must be blocking the program in some way.
How can I configure (step by step) Norton 360 (october 2015) to allow this apparently blocked .exe file. so the program opens and works? Any other suggestions?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards
Carlos
