I renewed subscription online & downloaded in August 2015 with the latest Norton 360 premium product.
Installed OK but after shutting down computer, at the next usage, error flags started appearing, Norton icons and product was not active.
Green Banner saying 'Your product is not compatible with Windows 10, click to upgrade'
After initialising, Norton searches for a Solution, but produces an Error message: 8504:100 & contact solution center is required.
After 3 un-installs, re-installs and repeats of this issue, over 3 hours to sort out I found the solution myself.
Windows Firewall needs to be switched off by You, Manually.
Go into Control Panel, select System & Security, Firewall.
Select Switch Off Windows Firewall.
Your Norton product takes over this function.
Then you will not have error messages and a continual death spiral of un-installing and re-installing product everytime you log on.
