How to delete the history in norton insight?

Hello community! I just joined the norton community. I need to know how to delete my download history in the norton insight. I had some friends over yesterday and they thought it would be cool to go on my laptop and download some inappropriate stuff. If my parents see or find out i will be in a lot of trouble. Please tell me how to clear the download history. Thank you

Right click on your Norton tray icon, and select View Recent History. You can then select Clear List, or if you're really worried use the drop down menu, and clear your Full History list entries. :smileyhappy: You can also do the same with the Download Insight history, if you want to be specific.

Thank you! But I can still see the history and the names of the files, and lets say they are pretty inappropriate so even the names will give it away. Is there a way to completely clear the downloads off of insight so they don’t show up?

Names_bib - did you select yes on the pop-up after you selected Clear entries?

 

On which History page are you seeing the names of the fiels - that you cleared?

Im seeing the files on the insight page where it shows your monthly downloads and intrusion attempts and scans.

I guess I am having a bad day - exactly how do I get to the page you are referring to?

I think Names_bib mean the flip side of the Norton software, Norton performance.  I belive its entries cannot be flushed without a full uninstall / reinstall.

When you open norton and it says performance and you click there and it is like a graph of your downloads and scans etc..

i just uninstalled and reinstalled and the downloads still show up

ALRIGHT EVERYONE I FIXED IT! THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE HELP!!! I had to completely uninstall and then reinstall. I tried but i did it wrong and then re did it and it worked.!
