How to disable 360 for o/s recovery install

I am going to reinstall Windows 7 (to fix recurring Windows Install pop-up problem).

 

How do is disable Norton 360 before the installation, and how do I reconnect when the system install is finished (basically returning to original factory settings)?

If I may add, to check after revertting to factory settings to see if any other Antivirus (trial perhaps) is installed.  If so it must be completely removed (including using that product's removal tool) prior to installing N 360.  You may be able to locate the bnecessary tool here.
