How to disable Auto Scan During Idle time

Hello all

Well I recently installed NIS 2012 on my PC. You see, I live in a area where power cut is usual. So I only use my laptop during on power. But during on battery I left my PC on downloading some stuff and go away. But there is a big problem, the NIS starts auto scan during idle time and its reducing battry timing. When I did`nt installed NIS my battry timing was 2 hours but now its only 45 mins and I don`t like this thing. I tried my best to search in google and on support site to find the solotion but I got nothing.

Please tell me "How to disable auto scan during idle time?"

I would be very thankful to you for solving my problem.

Sorry for my bad English.

With Best Regards

Thank you very much for your reply.

Its already on extarnal but still it starts scan on battry during idle time. Is this some kind of bug?

Can I simply turn this off?

You could turn on Silent Mode for a period that is longer than you anticipate the downloads to be. Right click on the system tray icon, click turn on silent mode. In the window that poops up select a time, click OK.

Please double check your Power Saving Mode setting:  Settings > General > Other Settings > Power Saving Mode
