Norton has been trying my patience. Not being able to schedule specific times for my backup has made me NOT USE backup.
NOW I have these nasty blue boxes on my icons and pictures and files!!
BEFORE I could turn this off when NORTON decided to turn it on every damn “upgrade”.
Now I can’t turn it off. Norton has become a joke.
If you can’t do an upgrade without causing problems how can I be comfortable depending on you to protect me from virus’s etc!!!
Fix this!!!
@Clyde_Rose We understand this isn’t the first time, please keep in mind we Gurus are not Norton employees. We do not have access to time lines for fixes, nor their releases. We also, cannot dictate what Norton will or will not chose to correct. We DO, point Norton to threads like this one for action. We are also Norton customers the same as you, dealing with the same issues as everyone else is. We ARE, trying to help at the highest level we are capable. Guru bjm escalated the first post in this thread, please look at the link at the bottom of that post.
Please explain this to me. The icon says “copy a link to this post to clipboard”. I initially assumed this would show me other links relating to this issue.
SoulAsylum is correct here. Both BJM and SoulAsylum have been extremely helpful in other Norton threads. They have escalated issues and slowly things are turning around. Think of these two as your “connection” to the club. I understand your patience as I have also expressed a lack of patience, but none of it should go toward these two. I for one thank the both you for the help.
I’m not unhappy with them. I am unhappy with the same “resetting operational parameters” of my Norton installation for no reason. And then eliminating the access to correct the settings that Norton changed. It is VERY strange. How can I feel comfortable with them protecting my devices from viruses if they can’t do an upgrade without making things worse??
