I have the SpectorPro keylogger program installed to keep tabs on teenagers in the family. I have had different versions of this program installed for years. It is occasionally detected as harmful and I have to apply the appropriate exclusions in the Norton settings
However this is the first time NIS 2010 has detected it. I entered the path with the detected .dll file in the scan settings exclusions for scan and auto protect. The program name is also entered in signature exclusions.
Instead of having to enter this info manually I don't see an option to "ignore" when you pull up the info from the quarrantine list. Options are to restore, remove this file from history or submit to Symantec.
Also today I am getting trojan hits from System Restore which is probably from the same program, any suggestions on how I can get NIS to ignore this program?
Thanx
