Kaspersky Password Manager only exports in .edb and .txt files. Norton Password Manager doesn’t import either of these. I’m trying to switch from Kaspersky to Norton, but it looks like I’m going to have to copy each pw over one by one. Is there an automated way to do this? The FAQ and support pages are no help.

fwiw ~ I don’t know how well running Norton Password Manager - Automatically save new credentials - will work along side Kaspersky Password Manager.
Meaning…visit your usual sites - login as usual with Kaspersky and Norton (in theory) will save credentials.
Caveat: I’ve never touched Kaspersky Password Manager.

I’m having this issue as well. The help page says the drop down menu should have an option to import from Kaspersky, but it’s not there. I’m going to see if chat support can help me.
They said passwords have to be added manually. Oh boy.

That doesn’t surprise me in the least and frankly, for a product I’m paying for, it’s completely unacceptable. I’ve only been using Norton PW manager for 2 days, but so far the experience has been extremely cumbersome and not at all user friendly. This is just one example. At this point, I’m leaning toward uninstalling it and going with something else. Bitwarden supports Kaspersky import out-of-the-box and it’s free for individuals.

Norton Password Manager is free.
All: Hope this helps with the issue. Make your text file “delimited”. Then, convert your txt file into a csv file. PWM should then accept the data.

If you are using Norton Password Manager extension on Chrome,please update it to the latest version 8.2.1.369. Then follow the below steps to import from Kaspersky - .txt file

Loginto your vault
-
Click on extension icon → hamburger menu at the right top corner

Click on Import data to my vault option in the below menu
-
Click on the drop-down menu of source , you will find Kaspersky as the second option
Drag and drop the .txt file exported from Kaspersky and proceed

Do you know if this feature will be soon available for the Firefox extension ?
If not, is it possible to import some formatted text file ?
Kaspersky is not listed as an import option for either Firefox or Edge as of 9/17/24.

Could you please update to the latest version of Norton Password Manager in Firefox 8.2.1.451 and check . It should be available now , the option to import from Kaspersky
