Do not use the product in question... but had a thought and not sure I can directly help.. but I'll add my 2c worth
You said "I have booted to XP_32bit (C disk) and installed Ghost Client remotely without problem."
Where was the source file stored when you did the install on XP_32Bit vs. when you tried this for Vista and XP-64B?
Where are your temp files stored, if you use the same location it might see parts of a prior install and faulter...
Since you have a multi-boot process are any Ghost files referenced in the boot process before you select the OS of choice?
This might cause Ghost to fumble on seeing parts already installed. Symantec products are rather funny about this during the install process.
