How to protect my family network when some 3rd party device trying to connect to family network

Hi all, I am having norton for a while but some 3rd party device trying to connect to my family network. I find it very suspicious and a threat to my family network. How to make sure I block these kind of device requests in future, so I can protect my family network from these kind devices now and in future. In past, I am not sure these devices are just monitoring or being a threat to my family network, so I tried creating the fake traffic with some nonsense to see which device will react to the traffic and then I can shortlist those devices and block them but it seems to be not solved. I am kind of man, whenever I find a threat to me or my family network, I will try to identify the threat device and block it or mitigate it. Thank you for taking a look at my question, have a good day.

Hey, I’d recommend logging into your router settings and checking the connected devices list. From there, you can block unknown devices by MAC address. Also, make sure your Wi-Fi has a strong password (WPA3 if possible). You could even set up a guest network for anything you don’t fully trust. Norton’s good for endpoint stuff, but your router’s where you’ll have the most control.

what happen bro?

it is very simple, when words and actions do not match or making promises you cannot keep makes any product, service or a person, very untrustworthy or unreliable or fake. it does not matter how cool, how rich or how influential anyone are. does any company or organization likes having loop holes in their network, no, similarly no one wants loop holes in anyone agreements or promises made. Anyone should not make any promises that they cannot keep and if they are not transparent, they are simply hiding something and respect gets respect. Anyone should not do something to others, if you cannot accept the same thing happen to them. Finally, spare the bullshit drama and be genuine.
