How to protect one specific cookie from Norton

Hi there,

I use Firefox 9.0, when the program loads I set to automatically open both google search and anche google calendar page in two distinct tabs, in particular I want save the login and pass of calendar to remain connected to the calendat till I close Firefox, thus I always can have a sudden look at events and alerts of the calendar.

The problem is that when Norton run a system scan,  automatically cleans all coockies, so each time I load Firefox I have to insert

the google calendat login and password again.

Is there a way to tlle Norton to ignore just the calendar cookie ?

Thank you and regards.

Hi

can someone please help me ?

Thank you :-)

Hi ferrux,

Are you sure it is a Norton issue?  The tracking cookie scan only removes third-party tracking cookies and should not remove first-party site preference or log-in cookies.  Are you sure the site is not logging you out automatically after a certain period of inactivity?

Try the solution mentioned in this thread to exclude a specific cookie:

http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Allow-tracking-cookie/m-p/217047/highlight/true#M30306

Let us know if this works for you.

Thanks,
