I have just recently purchased and installed NIS 2010 to my PC and I really liked it. Yesterday, I was browsing through some of my old files and NIS reported and quarantined an old file as 'Suspicious.MH690.A'. Without thinking much and since it indicated as 'low' level thread, I went ahead and restored the file from the Quarantine menu, and I selected the 'exclude this risk from future scan' radio button as I exit. Now, I am having second thoughts about excluding this file and would really like to reverse I selection. I have went through all the program menus within NIS 2010 and I have read through a lot of the forum topics, but I failed to find an answer to this. So, I have two questions:
1) How can I remove the exclusion and restore the detection state back to before, i.e. that it will detect this old file as a thread and quarantine it again?
2) Once I chose to exclude a file from future scan, what does it really mean? Does it mean that NIS will not check for any of the 'Suspicious.MH690.A' threads ever again, or does that mean NIS will just ignore this one particular file from future scan and how does it know?
Any help to answer these questions is greatly appreciated. If these questions have already been answered before, please kindly direct me to the correct forum (I am very new to this). Thank you very much for helping.
