How to reinstall OEM installation of NIS 2009

I bought my husband a Lenovo laptop late last year. I paid for NIS and 3 years of subscription service as part of the Lenovo purchase.

 

Norton quit working today, giving error 0x80010203 "Intrusion prevention failed to load." This was after a lock-up with an error about attempting to write to read-only memory.

 

The troubleshooting I've read online says we need to uninstall and reinstall, but I have two problems:

 

1) we registered at mynorton but it does not indicate we have a registered product, e.g. no product key shown in "Products". Without a product key, I don't know how we'd reactivate the software.

2) we did not get a software CD with the laptop, so we have no source of software for a reinstalling (if we had a CD, I'd hope the product key would be on the CD sleeve).

 

Given the investment I've made in the software and 3 year subscription, I'd like to make this work. Any ideas on next steps?
