Discovered my system had the Backdoor.Rustock.A Trojan malware when conducting a Norton complete scan in Safe Mode (done after system froze and I had to shut down and restart CPU). This threat never showed up in any other scan I conducted and I have had Norton Anti-virus protection installed from beginning and conduct periodic full system scans to be sure.
Any help with steps to remove this would be greatly appreciated. Found an old forum answer from 2008 on Symantec.com for removing Backdoor.Rustock.A from Windows XP but prefer assistance with instructions specifically for Windows 7.
